We invited Charlie to co-host our special annual film event called The Martini Film Awards. Initially intended as a live event at The Astor, due to the ongoing challenges posed by COVID we eventually decided to make this an online broadcast. Charlie rose to the challenge and provided a subtle balance of irreverent humour, gracious hosting and clever improvisation. He definitely brought a unique element to the show and would happily invite him back for future ceremonies.

He met with us multiple times to curate the runsheet, give us advice and also ensure he was fully prepared. On the night I was so busy meeting with guests, Charlie immediately jumped into action - he guided all the guests into their seat & began the show without a hitch!
